We were delighted to be featured in the September 2026 edition of the Chichester Society Newsletter (Issue 229).
In a two-page article, team member Carol Brinson looks back on our ‘Women Writers' Fest’, held at the Assembly Rooms on 20 June as part of the Festival of Chichester. After an introduction from our patron Jess Brown-Fuller MP, the day brought together Kate Mosse, Tessa Boase, Elly Griffiths, Lesley Thomson and Dr Daisy Dunn, alongside a look at the Sussex women writers held in the West Sussex Record Office archives.
The piece also tells the story of Madge Turner and our appeal to commission a bronze statue of her by Kate Viner. It covers our talks, research, publications, blue plaques, exhibitions and community projects, and the Novium’s ChichestHER exhibition, which on now running through to April.
Our thanks to Carol and to the Chichester Society for sharing our work with their readers.
